This community service activity represents the downstream implementation of research findings on determinants of reproductive health, particularly issues related to family planning (FP) discontinuation (drop-out [DO]) and active contraceptive coverage. Based on a situational analysis at the partner site, the main issues addressed in this activity included acceptors’ anxiety regarding contraceptive side effects, husbands’ involvement in FP decision-making, and the limited availability of adaptive educational media for field health workers. This activity aimed to improve the literacy of couples of reproductive age (CRA) regarding contraceptive side-effect management, enhance husbands’ involvement through the “KB-Ready Husband” (Suami Siaga KB) education program, and provide educational media through the development of the Family Planning Ecology E-Module. The activity was conducted on August 26, 2026, at Azahra Clinic, Tangerang City, involving 60 participants consisting of health cadres and couples of reproductive age. The implementation method employed a participatory approach through four stages: preparation and coordination, socialization and education, implementation and field assistance, and evaluation and monitoring. Evaluation was conducted using pre-tests and post-tests. The evaluation results indicated an increase in participants’ knowledge and attitudes following the intervention. Thus, this activity contributed in the form of reproductive health education for couples of reproductive age and health cadres regarding contraceptive side-effect management and husbands’ involvement in family planning decision-making.
