Abstract

Turnover intention is a human resource issue that warrants attention due to its potential impact on a company's operational continuity. This study aims to analyze the influence of work life balance, work stress, and compensation fairness on the turnover intention of employees at PT Midi Utama Indonesia Tbk (Alfamidi), Sawangan Area, both partially and simultaneously. A quantitative approach with a descriptive and associative design was employed. The study population consisted of 55 employees across five Alfamidi outlets in the Sawangan Area; a saturated sampling technique was used, meaning the entire population served as the study's respondents. Data were collected via Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the aid of SPSS. The results indicate that work life balance has a significant negative effect on turnover intention, whereas work stress has a significant positive effect. Compensation fairness did not show a significant partial effect. However, the three variables simultaneously exerted a significant influence on turnover intention, with an Adjusted R-Square value of 0.323, indicating that the research model explains 32.3% of the variation in turnover intention. These findings highlight the importance of corporate efforts to maintain work life balance and manage employee stress. Future research is encouraged to examine other factors potentially related to turnover intention and to include a broader range of respondents.
