Diseminasi Edukasi Pola Asuh Anti Bullying di SD Negeri 3 Indralaya Utara, Desa Tanjung Pering, Kecamatan Indralaya Utara, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir

Abstract

Bullying in primary schools remains a significant problem that can adversely affect students’ psychological well-being, social development, and academic achievement. This community service activity was conducted at SDN 3 Indralaya Utara, Tanjung Pering Village, Indralaya Utara District, Ogan Ilir Regency. The main problem identified was that many students did not yet recognise that teasing and social exclusion constitute forms of bullying. The activity was therefore expected to improve the understanding of students, teachers, and parents regarding the prevention and management of bullying. This community service activity is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 4 (Quality Education), and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), while also supporting the Key Performance Indicators (IKU) of Sriwijaya University. The activity was implemented through several stages, including site identification and observation, interactive lectures, the “Safe Zone” game, and pre-test and post-test evaluations. The participants consisted of 20 students. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in the participants’ knowledge and understanding of bullying, including its various forms and impacts. The evaluation showed that the target of 100% participant engagement was achieved, while participants’ level of understanding increased by 35 percentage points, from an average pre-test score of 48% to 83% in the post-test. Participants also became more confident in identifying bullying behaviour and learned the reporting procedure known as “STOP–JAUH–LAPOR” (STOP–KEEP AWAY–REPORT). It can be concluded that interactive educational methods are effective in enhancing the dissemination of anti-bullying parenting education in primary schools.
