Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to introduce and train students of SMA Negeri 4 Padang in using GeoGebra as an interactive mathematics learning medium. This activity is motivated by the fact that many students still experience difficulties in understanding abstract mathematical concepts such as functions, graphs, and geometric transformations. Therefore, an appropriate learning medium is needed to help visualize concepts in a more concrete and comprehensible way. The implementation method includes several stages: preparation, opening and team introduction, material presentation by the instructor, guided hands-on practice using laptops, question-and-answer sessions accompanied by rewards to enhance participation, and a closing session with group photos. The results indicate that students were highly enthusiastic throughout the training, actively participated in discussions, and showed increased interest and motivation in learning. The use of GeoGebra effectively helped students visualize mathematical concepts more clearly, interactively, and engagingly. Overall, this activity had a positive impact on improving students’ conceptual understanding and motivation in learning mathematics.
